In addition, 95% of our purchases are made from local, Luxembourg and cross-border suppliers.
Labgroup promotes fair trade and local products. For example, the company offers its customers Fairtrade chocolate squares, which are packaged in Labgroup mini archiving gift boxes.
Employees are offered local and/or organic fruits each week that are brought from Luxemburgish small businesses: Chat Biotté and Les Petites Cagettes. Moreover, products consumed or offered during the various annual events are chosen very carefully to follow the same guidelines.
Besides choosing carefully our business partner, being economically responsible also means reinvesting in green projects or sharing the wealth with organisations, associations or populations that need it and also being part of the financial growth of the region.
This is the reason why Labgroup installed solar panels on the roof, participates in different local associations (“E-Zaro“, “Canopée, coopérative en agroforesterie“…), and donates to support great causes (“Relais pour la Vie“, “Partage.lu“, “Chifundo“…).
The offsetting project is also in line with these criteria as locals of Madagascar are employed to participate in the project and will also be able to take advantage of the proliferation of fish that will favour fishing activities (for food but also to live financially).
